My client has numerous roles available within the Finance Change arena.
Typical responsibilities will include:
• Current state analysis and documentation
• Gap analysis, issue prioritisation and root cause determination
• Production functional specifications
• Future State Operating Model design and documentation
• Defining accounting rules
• Preparing test plans and migration plans
• Performing system testing
• Co-ordinating user acceptance testing
• Performing & co-ordinating migration testing
• Performing & co-ordinating implementations
• Issue identification, tracking and resolution
• Problem solving and developing innovative solutions
• Closely working with Front Office IT, Finance IT, Finance users and relevant workstreams of the EM integration programme
We are looking for the following experience from a large Investment Bank:
• Business Analyst experience
• Accounting knowledge/experience - Qualified accountant preferred
• Experience of working on systems and process engineering programmes within an Investment Banking environment
• An understanding of Financial Markets/products
• Good understanding of finance and operational environments
• Good handle of detail, documentation and ability to summarise for a more senior audience
• Strong project discipline
• Microsoft Office skills
