A Local Government organisation based Leicestershire is eager to appoint an Interim IFRS Consultant for a period of 8-12 weeks, starting ASAP on a 1-2 days per week basis. The role will require the candidate to lead on all aspects of the implementation with a specific focus on PFIs and leases. The candidate will need to be extremely hands on and have the ability to perform most of the technical aspects of the conversion (and not just delegate). The candidate will be a CCAB Qualified accountant with recent experience of IFRS Implementation within either NHS or Local Government. Experience of dealing with PFIs is essential as the candidate will have to hit a deadline with this element of the conversion.
