Strategic Project Lead
A fantastic opportunity has become available with one of our largest central government organisations based in central London. The organisation is forward thinking and innovative in its approach to change and is looking for someone to take the lead for a specific finance project.
Purpose of role:
As Strategic Project Lead you will be responsible for leading the strategic development of the organisation design for the consolidated business support function and directing and guiding the project team members in delivering the project.
The Role:
• You will be developing the Organisation Design of the Business Support Function
• Direct and guide the project team members in developing the new organisation objectives, organisation design, skills matrix etc.
• Manage the project and advise the Executive Lead and Programme Manager of any risks and issues.
Experience Required:
• You must have experience of developing Organisation Design models in the finance function and setting up Shared Services.
• Knowledge of budgeting, accounting, forecasting and financial management.
• You will have worked in complex project environments, with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in Public Sector/Central Government or the Rail Industry.
