Our client is a well known financial services provider with a requirement for an Assistant Finance Manager to join the team on an ongoing temporary basis.
Responsibilities include:
• Investigation of inter company balances via Oracle, Essbase and Discoverer
• Excel analysis of transactions and determination of counter-parties
• Summarise and propose entries to settle inter company balances
• Liaise with central inter company project team for Group Operations
• Coordinate information received from Payments Services managers to compile list of external bank accounts for audit purposes
• Support other members of the PS Finance team by investigating controls relevant to Sarbanes Oxley implementation
• Ad-hoc support for other balance sheet work for integration projects
Qualifications
• Finalist or newly qualified accountant
Experience
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Excel data manipulation via Pivot Tables and Autofilters
• Implementation of Financial Controls
• Oracle, SAP or similar general ledger knowledge
• Essbase or similar data extraction tool
• Desirable: knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley environment
