Our client is a leading financial services provider with a requirement for a qualified accountant to join the team on an ongoing temporary basis. The role sites within Project finance Equity who are responsible for the reporting of the Equity businesses. These include Fund Investments, Joint Ventures and Project Finance (Equity)
Working closely with Project Finance Equity business and as a key member of the finance team, key responsibilities will include:
• Prepare monthly journals, management accounts and financial control for 3 investment management legal entities
• Review of subsidiary management accounts prepared by external parties to prepare monthly consolidation into group results.
• Development of the consolidated Project Finance Equity Management Reporting pack
• Complete the quarterly equity valuation review and other risk capital reporting as required
• Develop regulatory knowledge on equity portfolio, associated capital requirements and provide reporting thereon.
• Prepare quarterly Group Finance returns and annual statutory accounts for 3 legal entities
• Provide a finance support service to the business team to improve financial understanding and business performance
• Assist Manager in contributing to the development of the PF Equity strategy, and provide transactional and ad hoc accounting advice as required
• Work closely with other Wholesale Equity finance business partners to ensure the sharing of best practice
